This two-session course, "Natural Gas and Liquefied Natural Gas Safety Moments - A 52-Year Technical Look Back of Learnings", explores safety principles and operational challenges in LNG facilities and gas transmission and distribution systems. Participants will analyze critical case studies, understand key technical concepts, and learn best practices for mitigating gas and cryogenic system risks. The course integrates real-world examples, regulatory guidelines, and the latest engineering methodologies to ensure operational safety and reliability, from pipeline rupture dynamics to frost heave prevention.
