Many specialty treatments can be applied to wood to either improve its performance or change its properties. Treatments addressed in this course are those that make permanent changes in the shape of a wood product, improvements in dimensional stability, or improvements in performance through combinations with non-wood resources. Students will gain an understanding from this course of the various specialty treatments available for wood products which can be used to change the performance or properties of lumber.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the course, the student should understand:- Plasticizing Wood

Nothing was provided in this “course” but a copy of Chapter 19 of the USDA Wood Handbook…did I miss something?
Course is not overwhelming in the amount of information on the subject. Good knowledge for those designing with wood. I recommend taking this if you design or aspire to design with wood products that are laminated, treated, or bent into shape.
