This course provides an introduction to installation and operation of groundwater control and dewatering systems for a variety of infrastructure features and projects. Course Outline 1. CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS This course will give environmental and civil engineers and others information about the requirements for operation and installation of groundwater control and dewatering systems and equipment.

• Learn how self-jetting wellpoints are installed;
• Learn how vacuum wellpoint systems are operated;
• Learn the important applications of jet eductor wellpoints and vertical sand drains;

• Learn about slurry wall cutoffs.
