What are the new changes in Masonry Design? Understanding Masonry design philosophies? What are the detailing requirements? Masonry Design Masonry structures in North America are common in low-rise and residential structures; therefore structural engineers are in need for masonry design knowledge due to the lack for masonry courses in many academic institutions. This course will provide an introduction about masonry structures, introduce design philosophies used in Masonry Structures, codes and standards used, and discuss detailing requirements.

Module provides lots of written information, but it doesn’t provide context to anything. CHAT GT was extremely helpful (my first experience with it), but I feel like there was no instruction – just a lot of information thrown at me.
