After determining whether a given waste is regulated by RCRA, the next step is to decide whether or not the waste material fits the RCRA definition as a "solid waste" to be sure that it's excluded from RCRA regulations. What are those exclusions? This course is intended primarily for environmental, civil, and chemical engineers interesting in gaining knowledge about wastes specifically excluded from RCRA regulations. Before taking this course, please review the material in the Study Guide, "Introduction to Solid and Hazardous Waste Exclusions" (EPA530-K-02-0221). Once you review the course material, please complete the associated multiple choice quiz (consisting of twenty (20) short questions) to earn 3 PDH credits.
