This course is designed to meet the Florida Board of Professional Engineers continuing education requirement that a minimum of 1 PDH per renewal period must be devoted to study of recent changes (that affect engineering practice) in:
- Chapter 61G15 of the Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C), “Board of Professional Engineers Organization & Purpose”
- Chapter 455 of Title XXXII of the Florida Statutes – “Business and Professional Regulation: General Provisions”
- Chapter 471 of Title XXXII of the Florida Statutes - “Engineering”

Learning Objectives
At the successful conclusion of this course, you’ll be able to identify and discuss:- Participants will be able to take advantage of distance learning opportunities to satisfy continuing education requirements.
- Participants will be able to state the requirements that will allow licensure by endorsement.
- Participants will be able to describe the conditions under which licensing is not required for employees whose practice of engineering is limited to the design or fabrication of manufactured products and servicing of such products.
- Participants will be able to describe consequences of failing to pass either the Fundamentals of Engineering or the Principles and Practices of Engineering examinations after three attempts.
- Participants will be able to state the requirement that licensees must affirmatively declare completion of the continuing education requirements upon licensure renewal.
- Participants will be able to describe several recent disciplinary cases instituted by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers.
