This course provides an overview of the methods and principles of concrete, including the basic ingredients in concrete and the essential aspects of working with fresh or hardened concrete. The course is designed for engineers, construction project managers, contractors, quality control managers, public officials, and private firm owners who deal directly or indirectly with concrete. The concepts behind the high-performance fiber reinforced concrete will be presented. New promising concrete materials will be discussed.
