In this series of classes, we will explore vertical construction, which is high-rise construction. We begin with a commercial building in lower Manhattan, which is constructed with a steel frame, which is typical of tall commercial towers. To become familiar with the planning and construction details for a major office tower in NYC. We explore how this project interacts with adjoining construction projects and minimizes impact on vehicles and pedestrians. H.R.3684 - Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act 11/15/21 The Bipartisan Infrastructure Act will rebuild America’s roads, bridges and rails, expand access to clean drinking water, ensure every American has access to high-speed internet, tackle the climate crisis, advance environmental justice, and invest in communities that have too often been left behind. Now that funds are available, the challenge is to develop the workforce necessary to successfully execute this ambitious program. We have compiled eighteen one-hour classes focused on the basic means and methods of constructing Infrastructure Projects.
