PDH UNITS: 1
Codes of ethics for engineers typically describe standards for professional behavior—the enforcement of which lies with state licensing boards. In this course, 10 case studies of actual law enforcement actions by a state licensing board are presented. The cases have been selected to be representative of situations likely to exist in your P.E. licensing state(s) Board procedures and the types of enforcement action available are illustrated through the lens of a variety of cases—ranging from a geotechnical engineer who produced (within one hour and without visiting the site) a soils report, to an engineer who was unable to document his PDH’s during a board audit—as well as the significance of putting the initials “P.E.” after your name on a document. The course was submitted to and approved by the FBPE.

This course was thorough as it presented ten different case studies and emphasized the importance of ethics and integrity in our work as Engineers.
Informative and practical.
Great case studies.
Good Course
Excellent examples of running afoul of State Licensing requirements and responsibilities. Should be required reading for all PEs.
