E – 1577 Evaluation of Blast Loads for Structural Application

Due to threat of bomb blasts at different kinds of buildings, there is a need to understand how to quantify bomb blast loads. This seminar is prepared for this purpose. The seminar will go step-by-step to show you how to deal with different kinds of detonating charges and how to convert the energy released due to detonation to a blast load that can be applied to structural elements of a building to calculate their responses.
