I was disappointed with both content and quality. The content was rudimentary forensic building investigations of mostly residential structures that are not professionally designed. The quality was poor with an instructor who was difficult to follow, tended to go on tangents indirectly related to the course objectives, and relied on graphics comparable to an elementary school lesson. Ncite should strive to meet or exceed the quality of continuing education courses of the type offered by ASCE as a free benefit with annual membership. I will likely not purchase a course for Ncite based on this course.
Good info overall. Some CMU and brick masonry failures would be good to add to a future webinar
Course was very informative and had good slides
While the course was advertised to analyze common construction defects, the content only intermittently addressed this core topic. Much of the material focused on tangential subjects which only occasionally bore significance to the core topic, diluting the relevance for those specifically seeking insight into construction defect analysis. The audio quality was generally poor and the instructor frequently veered off-topic. Â Overall, the course would benefit from improved technical quality, tighter focus on its advertised subject matter with actionable insights, and a more structured approach to content delivery.
Very informative course that was very well presented.
Great pace, clear information presentation, well done!…
Good course
The course was somewhat interesting but hard to hold attention.
It covers a lot of topics. It doesn’t tell you how to investigate everything, But it gives you the first or second step to take if carrying out an investigation.
Presenter a bit distracted
The content is relevant and I enjoyed the course. The presenter does a great job too.
Enjoyed the relatable style of the presenter. Good to his perspective on geotechnical and structural engineers. Good reinforcement on some topics and learned new info on others.
Good refresher!
Instructor is very knowledgeable. Very good intro or review course.
The instructor is very knowledgeable and thorough.
Topics are covered in a way that is relatively easy to follow.
