E – 1912 Waste Heat Recovery
$50.00
Courses Included
Waste heat recovery” is the process of “heat integration”, that is, reusing heat energy that would otherwise be disposed of or simply released into the atmosphere. By recovering waste heat, plants can reduce energy costs and CO2 emissions, while simultaneously increasing energy efficiency.
The benefits of these devices include (i) saving of fuel, (ii) generation of electricity and mechanical work, (iii) reducing cooling needs, (iv) reducing capital investment costs in case of new facility, (v) increasing production, (vi) reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and (vii) transforming the heat to useful forms. Different methods to achieve these tangible and intangible benefits are explained in this course with necessary diagrams.
This course is about Waste heat recovery. All critical aspects of waste heat utilization and recovery are discussed at length and includes technical tips and diagrams. Selection of right waste heat recovery method is biggest concern and is highlighted in this course.
Starting from fundamental methods to complex methods of heat utilization and their construction and arrangements are shown in this course.
