E – 1812 Wind Force Calculations on Low Rise Buildings
$80.00
Courses Included
This course teaches both fundamental and advanced concepts of calculating the wind forces on low rise buildings specifically tailored for engineers and other professionals who have little or no background in the design and analysis for wind loads. You will become familiar with general concepts of wind forces, as well as the American Society of Civil Engineers Standard: ASCE/SEI- 7. 2016Â (Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures).
We will look at the minimum wind design loads and design formulae in a simplified format, making them easy to understand and apply. You will learn how to analyze important parameters and perform calculations for determining wind loads on buildings. Detailed simplified example will be covered as an application of the covered theory.
