Description
Carriers’ Technical Development Program is a review of basic engineering principals and system applications in the HVAC industry. The topics to be covered include: Rooftop Units Level I – Constant Volume, Rooftop Units Level II – VAV Rooftops, Commercial Split Systems, Central Station Air Handlers, Air Cooled Chillers, Water Cooled Chillers, Psychrometrics, Load Estimating, Duct Design, Water Piping Design, Refrigeration Piping Design, and Refrigeration Cycle. Air conditioning is all about moving heat energy, either by adding it or removing it from one place to another. This training module deals with the way heat is moved from one place of lower temperature to a place of higher temperature in a process called mechanical refrigeration.
